Obituary
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Morrow with the Rev. Michael Guidry officiating. Burial will follow in the church mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Ms. Bright, age 74 of Morrow, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Opelousas General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Edward J. and Rosa Marie Marcantel Marcotte; a brother, Wilford Marcotte; her twin sister, Yvonne Marcotte Jensen and sister, Joyce Lee Schexsnayder.
Survivors include her daughter, Becky Marcotte Gamboa and her husband Phil of Katy, TX; her grandchildren, Amber Ailyse McFarlain and fiancé Paul Byland of Katy, and Joshua Gamboa and his wife Julie of Midland; and her great-grandchildren, Riley Michelle Byland and Cameron Michael Gamboa.
