Funeral services for Winnie Still will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Rev. Stephen Chemino, V.G. officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Still, age 82 of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home in Dupont.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Still; siblings, Carol Ann Mott, Marshall Ponthier and Mary Alice Jeansonne.

Survivors include her children; Henry Daire and wife Tracy of Hessmer and Margaret Daire of Baton Rouge; siblings, Pete Ponthier of Echo, Merlin Ponthier, Jr. of TN and Murray Ponthier of Bunkie, Helen Fitzgerald of Cottonport and Mary Ruth Manny of MS; grandchildren, Hailey Dufour, Colby Daire, Justin Madrigal, Austin Madrigal and Emily Madrigal; and great-grandchildren, Ella Grace Daire, Rowen Daire, Karson Chesne, Amelia Chesne, Brynlee Dufour and Maverick Marshall Madrigal.

Friends may visit on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
