Funeral services for Wilma Caswell will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Bro. David Newton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Griffin Hills Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Caswell, age 69 of Lone Pine, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry Caswell; her parents, Willie and Pearl Blood; her siblings, Willie Mae Book, Catherine Book, Lurine Perry, Vergie Walker, Harrington Blood, Samuel Blood, John Blood, Gary Blood and Geraldine Gray; her son-in-law, Billy Rogers and grandson-in-law Jake Lee.

Survivors include her children; Jesse Caswell of Maine, Cassandra "Sandy" Rogers of Turkey Creek, Tammy Doe of Maine, Elaina Chase of Maine and Tiffany Odom of Lone Pine; brother, Melvin Blood and wife Linda of Lone Pine; sister, Hope Crawford of Pine Prairie; her grandchildren, Jesse, Katrina, Logan, Lucas, Payton, David, Erica, Veronica, D.J., Damian, Solomon, Lucia, Tahlia, Leighton, Amari and Kamiyah; and her great-grandchildren, Brantley, Isabelle, Isaiah, Natalie, Ariel, Regan and Kingston.

Pallbearers will include:  Shane Odom, David Malone, Justin Chenevert, James Johnson, Greg Prohn, and Thomas Berzas.

Friends may visit on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
