Graveside services for Wilma Blood will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Griffin Hills Cemetery with Bro. Buddy Webb officiating.  Burial will follow.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Blood, age 88 of Lone Pine, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Elton L. Blood, Sr.; her parents, George and Mae Grayson Deville; and siblings, George Deville, Bud Deville, Essie Mae Causey, Bertha West and Alice Sciacca.

Survivors include her children, Elton L. "Butch" Blood, Jr. (Rose) of Lone Pine, Glen Blood of Lone Pine, Larry Blood (Sharon) of Lake Charles, Diane Sparks of Lone Pine, Bill Blood of Denham Springs, Clint Blood of Lone Pine and Scott Blood (Janice) of Lone Pine; a brother, Jessie Deville of Lake Charles; 21 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
