A Mass of Christian Burial for Bill Ferguson will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino, V.G. officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Ferguson, age 67 of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Sallie P. Ferguson; his daughter, Crystal Ann Ferguson; sisters, Anton Norris, Winnie Ann Ducote and Merille Belt; and brothers, Rufus Lee, Leo and R.L. Ferguson.

Survivors include one son, William Lee Ferguson and his wife Sarah of Evergreen; daughter, Michelle Pasquier of Bunkie; sisters, Joyce Deville of Bunkie, Ruthie Mae Wiggins of Cottonport and Susie McKnight of Hot Springs, AR; four grandchildren, Emily Doucet, Jace, Tucker and Tanner Ferguson.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday until 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

A rosary will be cited by Rev. Edwin Rodriguez at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
