WILLIAM JOHN SENTILLES
A memorial service for Bill Sentilles was held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Goddard United Methodist Church in Goddard, KS. Burial will follow at a later date in the Cushman Cemetery in Marksville. Arrangements will be under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
William J. Sentilles, peacefully slipped the surly bonds of earth for the last time in the early morning of Thursday, December 26, 2013 at the age of 65. He was a wonderful husband, father and example. A thoughtful man and friend to all. A perpetual instructor and student; not perfect, nor did he pretend he was. Bill was a simulator and ground instructor for FlightSafety International in Whichita, KS for 24 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Daniel John and Vera Boudreaux Sentilles.
Survivors include his wife; Sylvia Roy "Sammy" Sentilles of Goddard, KS; two sons, William J. Sentilles, Jr. and his wife Becky of Goddard, KS; and Jonathan Paul Sentilles and his wife Beth of Rocky Mount, NC; his brother, Daniel Sentilles of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Kylie, Billy, Mitchell and Austin; and his in-laws, Peter and Sylvia Roy of Marksville.
