A funeral mass for Wayne Dupont will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church with Rev. Martin Laird officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Dupont, age 64 of Plaucheville, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at his daughters' home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Lula Belle Lemoine Dupont and a brother, Lonnie Dupont.

Survivors include his children, Nikki D. Guillory and husband Brandon of Plaucheville and Andrew Gibson of Minot, ND; his sister, Cathy D. Lemoine and husband Raymond of Belledeau; 3 brothers, Bruce Dupont and wife Melinda of Pollock, Barry Dupont and wife Chiara of Marksville and Perry Dupont of Simmesport; and his grandchildren, Rilee Guillory and Ashlyn Guillory.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
