Funeral services for Mrs. Sue Johnson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Bayou Rouge Baptist Church in Evergreen with Stephen M. Young officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Johnson, age 105 of Evergreen, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, at the Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Johnson; her parents, Curtis and Mary Alice Bettevy Johnson; brothers Richard Johnson and Frank Johnson and sisters, Grace J. Lennard and Burt Ruby Johnson.

Survivors include two sisters, Ruth J. Dupuis of New Iberia and Nettie J. Jans of Evergreen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Bayou Rouge Baptist Church.
