VELDA "PAT" SAUNDERS DUCOTE
Funeral services for Velda Ducote will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Ducote, age 79 of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2013 at Grace Home in Alexandria.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Burton Ducote; a daughter, Connie Ducote; three sons, Johnny Ducote, David Ducote and Tommy Ducote.
Survivors include one son; Michael Ducote and his wife Sandy of San Antonio, TX; her daughter, Phyllis D. Villemarette and her husband Jessie of Bunkie; two brothers, Buddy Saunders and Floyd Saunders both of Channelview, TX; one sister, Dena Saunders of Channelview, TX, 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Friday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral of Bunkie. A rosary will be cited at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
