TERRY LEE CHRISTAL

Funeral services for Terry Lee Christal will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Bunkie with the Rev. Lamon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery, Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Christal, 68 of Bunkie, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2011 at the Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Christal and his sister, Jeanette Christal.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Lynda Christal of Bunkie; his children, Lori Johnson and her husband Johnny, Terry Lynn Johnson and her husband Gerard, and heather Blood and her husband Josh, all of Bunkie; his father, Robert Christal of Newport, AR; his brother, Wiley Christal of Round Rock, TX; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Johnson, Gerard Johnson, Josh Blood, Alan Chatman, David Johnson and Cory Sandell.
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday until 9:45 on Wednesday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
