TERRELL PAUL DUBEA, SR.

Funeral services for Terrell "Ted" Dubea will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2010 at the David Haas Memorial Methodist Church in Bunkie with the Rev. Joe Hoover and Charles Bigner officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
God stretched out his hand and he led "Ted" to heaven September 1, 2010. He leaves behind a loving wife of 49 years. Through the precious gift of life, he was given a heart on November 22, 1998, and through God's love gave him almost twelve more years with his devoted wife Irma, family and friends.
He was retired from CLECO and he worked offshore as a master electrician. He served as a Deacon in the Baptist Church and as a past Master with the Masonic Lodge #326 of Bunkie.
His love of God, life, country and family should be a shining example of a Christian.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Irma; their three children and their families; Terrel and Nancy Dubea of Bunkie, their three sons, Jason, Jed and Thomas; Denise and Remo Abraham of Youngsville, their children, Genny and Zack, and Michael and Carlyn Dubea of Plaucheville and their two daughters, Annie and Kayla, as well as five precious great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will include: Thomas Dubea, Kemeron Dubea, Larry Dubea, Mike Robertson, David Michel, and Wayne Michel. Honorary pallbearers will be Brady Broussard and Lawrence Franks.
Visitation will be at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Friday.
