A Mass of Christian Burial for Suzanne St. Romain will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Rev. Edwin Rodriguez officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Joseph #2 Cemetery in Marksville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. St. Romain, age 75 of Hessmer, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Avoyelles Hospital.

She retired from the nursing field after 45 years of service.  Suzanne loved gardening and sewing.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin St. Romain; granddaughter, Mallory Blake St.Romain; and her parents, Edward and Inez Gremillion Dye.

Survivors include her five children; Henry "Eddie" St.Romain (Cathy) of Plaucheville, Joseph A. St.Romain, Jr. of Baton Rouge, Kristopher L. St.Romain (Brittany) of Belledeau, Amy St.Romain of Hessmer and Gabriel J. St.Romain (Yesenia) of Bossier City; brother, Raphael Dye of Pontchatoula; sisters, Patricia Dye of Hessmer and Michelle Clanton of Covington; 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:30 p.m.
