Funeral services for Susan Barton will at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Brad Barton officiating. Burial will follow at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Barton, age 64 of Alexandria, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her father, E.E. Buddy Moncla; her maternal grandparents, Emile and Susie Saucier; and her paternal grandparents, Alfred and Virginia Moncla.

Survivors include her husband, Roland "Reb" Barton of Alexandria; one son, Andy Cummings and his wife Jan of Atlanta, GA; two daughters, Tracy Hall of Baton Rouge and Barbara Taylor of Shreveport; two step sons, Brad Barton and his wife Amy of Haughton and Scott Barton and his wife Jennifer of Jersey City, NJ; one brother, Stephen Moncla and his wife Susie of Moncla; her grandchildren, Benjamin and Claire Cummings, Hunter and Hanna Hall and Dylan Hogan and her mother, Beryl Saucier Moncla of Alexandria.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 27, 2015 at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
