STEPHEN GEORGE RICHE'

A Mass of Christian Burial for Steve Riche' will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cottonport with Rev. Brian Seiler officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Mausoleum #2.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Riche', age 61 of Evergreen, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville.

Steve worked for CG Logan Construction, where he was a valued superintendent for 32 years.  He was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish, and enjoyed spending time at his camp with his Grand Lake Family that he loved dearly.  Steve was also involved with his "brothers" of the Cottonport ACTS Retreat.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Harvey and Jacyntha Goudeau Riche' and sister, Elizabeth Riche'.

Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Julee Normand Riche' of Evergreen; his children, Taylor Riche' and wife Madeline of Moreauville and Shelby Riche' and fiancé Brock Bourque of Carencro; and his brothers, Kent S. Riche' and wife Roxanne of Evergreen and Christopher A. Riche' and wife Becky of Moreauville.

Friends may visit on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the St. Mary's CYO in Cottonport.
