Funeral services for Sherry Guillory will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Mausoleum.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Dcuote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Guillory, age 74 of Bunkie, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at the Hessmer Nursing Home.

Sherry started her career with the Bunkie Senior Center Council on Aging in 1981 and became site manager in 1985 and transportation until her retirement in 2022.  Sherry had the sweetest soul and to know her was to love her.  She will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Roxanne C. Pepis; her parents, Fred J. and Joyce Mayeux Riche' and an infant brother Ricky Riche'.

Survivors include her son; Fred J. Carmouche and wife Melinda of Bunkie; sister, Judy Mayeux of Bunkie; her grandchildren, Taylor Carmouche, Jordan Firmin, Emily Carmouche, Laken Firmin and Anna Carmouche; and her great-grandchildren, Colden Gunnells and Caden Firmin.

Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
