Funeral services for Sharon Palermo will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 13, 2022 at the Lone Pine Assembly of God with Bro. Billy Tingle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Palermo, age 83 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Stacie Lynn Palermo; her parents, Anson and Ruth Servis Richardson; and a sister, Patti R. Chenevert.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Clayton J. Palermo of Bunkie; her daughters, Cherie Palermo of Bunkie and Monica P. Hernandez and husband Dario of Bunkie; a sister, Carmen R. Rials of Brookhaven, MS; her grandchildren, Felicia Palermo, Joshua Palermo, Erica Ferguson, Alaina Hernandez, Marli Gonzales, Carlos Hernandez, Damon Hernandez and Dylan Hernandez; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Monday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 noon at the Lone Pine Assembly of God Church in Lone Pine.
