A Memorial Service for Sandra Cook will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Crawford officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Cook, age 68 of Bunkie, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at St. Frances Medical Center in Monroe.

Sandra was owner and operator of the Home Medical/Pulmonary Services in Bunkie and Marksville.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Lamar and Ara Campbell Rachal.

Survivors include her son; Colby W. Cook of Bunkie; her granddaughter, Kyndle Lynn Cook; brother, Donald Rachal and wife Dianna of Cottontown, TN; the daughter she always wanted and mother of Kyndle, Cheree Lynn Ponthier; her sister that she always wanted, Angela Douzart and husband Mike; niece Courtney Pirtle and husband Jeff; great-niece, Bailey Pirtle, great-nephew, Alex Rachal; and numerous friends and family.

Friends may visit on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with the service at 7:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
