RUSSELL JAMES TANNER

Memorial mass for Russell Tanner will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Goudeau with the Rev. James Nellekunnel officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Tanner, age 63 of Goudeau, passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at his residence. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Dub Tanner.
Survivors include; his mother, Gloria Tanner of Goudeau; one son, William Tanner of Goudeau; two step sons, Terrence Salsbury and wife Amber of Mansura, and Sidney and Salsbury and wife Billie Jean of Marksville; two daughters, Brandi Chambless and husband Bob of Dallas, and Ava Hebert and husband Christopher of Lafayette; his sister, Laurie Tanner of Goudeau; two grandchildren, Eli Cambless and Annie Hebert; and three step grandchildren, Hailey, Cameron and Wyatt Salsbury.
He will be missed dearly by his two dogs, Nuttie and George.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the rosary at 10:30 and mass at 11:00 at St. Charles Catholic Church in Goudeau.
