A private graveside service for Robert McGlone will be held on Wednesday September 10, 2025 at the McGlone Family Cemetery with Bro. Matthew Cormier officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Robert McGlone, age 67 of Big Cane, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Opelousas General Hospital.

He is preceded in death by his wife; Clara Jane Carter McGlone; his parents, Richard and Hazel Ducote McGlone; a sister, Vicky Killingsworth and brother, Vincent McGlone.

Survivors include his siblings, Walter McGlone of TX and Brian "Butch" McGlone and wife Michal of Big Cane; and a host of nieces and nephews.
