ROBERT PIERCE LEE

Robert Pierce Lee, a retired employee of Gulf Oil Corporation and Chevron, passed away at The Bailey House on Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the age of 92. He was a native of Washington, Indiana and a resident of Bunkie, LA for over fifty years. He was a veteran of World War II having served in Italy and Africa. "Bobby" as he was called by most of his friends, was a simple man who was devoted to his children.
He is survived by three son, Jerry Lee and his wife Stacey of Alexandria, Jim Lee and his wife Kay of Bunkie, and David Lee of Houston, TX; five grandchildren, Amy Collins, Jeremy Lee, Hannah Lee, Charlotte and Kelsey Lee; six great-grandchildren, Anna Margaret Collins, Ellie Collins, Grant Collins, Laura Lee, Audrey Lee and Jack Lee.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Glenn Lee and his brothers, Edker L. Lee and John E. Lee.
Visitation at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home will be on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A memorial service will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his name to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School.
