Funeral services for Rebecca Villemarette will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with the Rev. Charlie Ray officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Villemarette, age 55 of Hessmer, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2024 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Herndon and Alicia McCarson Jeansonne; a brother, Andy Jeansonne; and brother-in-law Phil Grissaffe.

Survivors include her children; Austin Ducote of Echo, Shelby Ducote of Holloway and Joni Ducote of Hessmer; her siblings, Sandy Joffrion and husband Butch of Fairhope, AL, Jackie Grissaffe of Denham Springs and Herndon "Buzz" Jeansonne, II and wife Rikki of Cottonport; sister-in-law, Peggy Jeansonne of New Orleans; and her grandchildren, Anna, Alyssa, Addison, Paisley, Kamree and Trey.

Friends may visit with the family from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cottonport.
