Funeral services for Rebecca Deselle will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the Griffin Hills Cemetery in Lone Pine.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Deselle, age 47 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Rebecca had been working for the Town of Cottonport as a clerk.  She loved her precious dog Mya so very much and there was nothing better than eating her mama's fried back strap.  She was always loved and will always be loved.

She is preceded in death by her son; Dylan Prentis Gray; her paternal grandparents, Tennis J. and Leola Gauthier Deselle; and her maternal grandparents, Irving J. and Della Mae Ducote Rachal.

Survivors include her parents, Russell and Debra Rachal Deselle; her brother, Russell J. Deselle, Jr. of New Iberia; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may visit on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until the time of service at 10:00 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
