Obituary
RAYMOND REDMOND
Funeral services for Raymond Redmond will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2011 at Church of the Little Flower with the Rev. Ebe officiating. Burial will follow in the Bayou Rouge Baptist Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Redmond, age 72 of Mobile, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Providence Hospital in Mobile.
He is preceded in death by a son, Marty Redmond; and a granddaughter, Charie Billiot.
Survivors include his wife; Margaret Redmond of Mobile, AL; three sons, Kevin Redmond of Houston, Gary Redmond of Pine Prairie, and Casey Redmond of Alaska; three step-sons, Chuck Billiot, Chris Billiot, and Johnny Cox; one daughter, Jackie Redmond of Houston; two step-daughters, Cindy Patton and Kerri Bodden; three sisters, Merline Pickett of Bunkie, Evelyn Johnson of Harvey, and Lucille Doize of Metairie; 25 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. A wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
