RAYMOND NICHOLSON
Funeral mass for Raymond Nicholson will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Jack Michalchuk officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Nicholson, age 74 of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at his daughters home in Turkey Creek.
He is retired from the Avoyelles Parish School Board as a teacher, and was the owner of Nicholson's Fine Homes for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Clifton J. and Lena Pastor Nicholson; and his son-in-law, Michael S. Bordelon.
Survivors include his daughter, Angela Nicholson of Turkey Creek; his brother, J.C. Nicholson of Lafayette; his sister, Judy Fontenot of Marksville; and his grandsons, Shayne, Spencer, and Hunter Bordelon.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
