RAYMOND GLEN ARMAND

Funeral services for Glen Armand will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Bro Daniel Blood officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of the Little Flower Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Armand, age 63 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, March 09, 2013 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital.
Mr. Armand retired from MD Descant construction after 33 years as a heavy equipment operator.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Ellis J., Sr. and Olive Rachal Armand and a son-in-law Philip Montalvo.
Survivors include his wife; Debra Ortego Armand of Bunkie; three daughters, Yolanda Ferguson and her husband Leo of Bunkie, Felicia Brodnax of Alexandria and Cheraka Montalvo of Bunkie; two step sons, David Pipes and his wife Dena of Cottonport and James Pipes and his wife Celeste of Morgan City; one brother, Ellis J. Armand, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Bunkie and one sister, Diane Onishea of Bunkie; five grandchildren, Kelsi, Taylor, Kaleigh, Kassadi, and Ian; three step grandchildren, Kayla, Jacob, and Hannah.
Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday and 8 am until time of service in Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
A wake service will be at 7:00 pm on Sunday.
