Funeral services for Peggy Corley will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Rev. David Newton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Griffin Hills Cemetery in Lone Pine.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Peggy Corley, age 72 of Pineville, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2021 at her residence.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Rev. Archie and Lillie Bruno Smith; her in-laws, Dawson, Sr. and Verdie Burns Corley; and brother-in-law, Francis Corley.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Dawson Corley, Jr. of Pineville; her son, Billy Redmon, Jr. and Donald of Ft. Worth; her daughters, Jeannia Redmon Murphy and William of Lena, Margie Redmon of Hollister, MO and Melissa Redmon Landry and Brent of Evergreen; her step-son, Nicholas Deason of Corpus Christi, TX; two sisters, Molly Marshall of Granbury, TX and Eloise Norris of Pineville; two sisters-in-law, Penny Corley of Tickfaw and Felicia Corley of Pineville; her grandchildren, Alonzo "A.J.", Amanda, Tre', Cody, Jude, Brittany, Karli, B.J., Chad, Zachery, David, Jacob, Samantha, Robby, Anthony, Xavier and Jayden and 13 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
