PEARL BORDELON NORMAND
A funeral mass for Pearl Normand will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Basil Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Normand, age 95 of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Bunkie General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Reese Normand, Sr.; and two daughters, Juliette N. Johnson and Sheila Normand.
Survivors include two sons; Reiss Normand, Jr. and wife Judy of Bunkie, and Randy John Normand of Bunkie; her daughter, Judy Normand Bordelon and husband Gerald, Sr. of Alexandria; three sisters, Dorothy Sehon of Baton Rouge, Lela Aymond of Bunkie and Mabel Aymond of Bunkie; nine grandchildren, Ricky Johnson, Connie Townsend, Glenn Bordelon, Robbie Bordelon, Rebecca Lyles, Melissa Lawson, Jerry Bordelon, Stephen Normand and Jarrod Normand; 14 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Friday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
