Patti was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife and friend.  Her beautiful spirit remains with us all.  Her strength, her love, her laugh will not be forgotten.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patti Ducote will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Martin Laird officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mrs. Ducote, age 68 of Plaucheville, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Dubuis Hospital in Alexandria.

She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond James Lemoine; paternal grandparents; Alcide Lemoine and Maude Ecuer; and her maternal grandparents, Xavier and Mathilda Gauthier.

Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Steven Ducote of Plaucheville; her children, Stacie Marsh (Kenneth, Jr.) of Plaucheville, Dawn Ducote of Plaucheville, Amanda Dixon (Preston, Jr.) of Dupont and Kristen Kramer (Dean) of Plaucheville; her mother and step-father, Sylvia and Eddie Lemoine, Jr. of Plaucheville; brother, Joseph Lemoine (Patrice) of Baton Rouge; sisters, Pamela Savoy (Charles) of Plaucheville and Tammy Lemoine of Denham Springs; her grandchildren, Reilly Willis (Carl,III), Kyle Quebedeaux (Hannah), Madelyn Quebedeaux, Nathan Quebedeaux, Sarah Quebedeaux, Sophia Rabalais, Preston Dixon, III, Noah Dixon, Juliette Dixon, Eli Dixon, Nova Dixon; and great-grandchildren, Jaxon Quebedeaux and Carl Willis IV.

Visitation will be on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
