PATRICIA CHENEVERT MOORE

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia Moore will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Church of the Little Flower in Evergreen, with the Rev. Ramji Shoury officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Moore, age 67 of Cottonport, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Opelousas General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Corbett and Provella Descant Chenevert; brothers, Carroll Chenevert and James Chenevert; and sister, Leona Miller.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Clyde Moore of Cottonport; two sons, Christopher Moore (Cynthia Manuel) of Cottonport; and Joshua Moore and wife Carley of Big Cane; brother, Jimmy Martin and wife Vicky of Many; sister, Evelyn Melder and husband Larry of Cottonport; her grandchildren, Logan and Cheyenne Moore, Kade, Emma, Lexi, Seth and Emma N Moore; and great-granddaughter, Ainsley Sneed.

Pallbearers will include:  James Chenevert, Justin Chenevert, Drake Chenevert, Johnny Moore and Gerald Moore.  Honorary pallbearer, Jim Pitre.

Friends may visit on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
