Memorial Services for Nicholas Faciane will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the David Haas United Methodist Church in Bunkie with the Bro. Kemper Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Faciane, age 73 of Bunkie, formerly of Slidell, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Lafayette.

Nicholas was one of fourteen children born to Edward and Edna Rabalais Faciane. He was a retired electrician in the marine industry.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Bell Faciane; his parents; and a step-son, Bill Case.

Survivors include his wife; Juanita Overbey Courtney Faciane of Bunkie; three sons, David Faciane and his wife Malaika of Atlanta, Stephen Faciane and his wife Debbie of Pearl River, and Jeff Faciane and his wife Anna of Broussard; a step-son, Gary Case and his wife Susan of Pollock; a step-daughter, Evelyn Fogleman and her husband Jack of Bunkie; his grandchildren, Jayson, Jacqueline, Sara, Elizabeth, Erik, Evan and David; and a special nephew, Clark Overbey.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 1:00 pm. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the David Haas United Methodist Church.
