Funeral services for Naomi Mays will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Bro. Conrad Champagne officiating. Burial will follow in the Pratt Cemetery in Clearwater. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Mays, age 91 of St. Landry, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Prairie Manor Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Miranda Sue Mays; her husbands, Karl Jenkins and Jewell Mays; and her mother, Edith Atkins.

Survivors include her grandchildren; Jade Mays, Jared Mays and Kerrie Whatley and her great-grandchildren, Larkin Mays, Parker Mays, and Jared David Mays.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
