Funeral services for Muriel Campbell will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Campbell, age 96 of Memphis, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Methodist Hospice Residence.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Olan Campbell; a son, J. Calvin Campbell; and a daughter, Barbara Jean Bruning.

Survivors include one son, Ret. Lt. Col. James Campbell and his wife Donna; a daughter, Jacqueline Campbell Babin and her husband Lionel; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
