A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 26, 2016 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Morrow with the Rev. Michael Guidry officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Catherine's Cemetery in Rosa. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Dixon, age 60 of Dupont, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Lafayette General.

He is preceded in death by his father, Matthew Dixon; his grandparents, Lewis & Mildred Dixon and Winnie and Ammie Guillory; three sisters, Renee Guillot, Eva Rabalais, and Darlene Dixon.

Survivors include his wife; Maria Chautin Dixon of Dupont; two sons, Scott Dixon and Bradly Dixon of Dupont; his daughter, Amy Firmin and her husband Dale of Dupont; his mother, Nell Guillory Dixon of Dupont; his brothers, Curry Dixon, Randy Dixon, Johnny Dixon, Clay Dixon, Matt Dixon, Jr, Hugh Dixon, Andy Dixon all of Dupont and Toby Dixon of Plaucheville; one sister, Tama Dixon Lemoine of Dupont; and 8 grandchildren, Tyler, Stacy, Blayz, Marialissa, Hailey, Mazie, Olivia and Bailey.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. on Sunday until 11:30 a.m. on Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall in Dupont.
