A Mass of Christian Burial for MaryAnne Saltzman will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen Scott Chemino, V.G. officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery #1 in Marksville.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Saltzmann, age 88 of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at the Hessmer Nursing Home.

MaryAnne, along with her husband Herman J. Brouillette, owned and operated the Marksville Ready Mix for many years.  She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is preceded in death by husbands, Herman J. Brouillette and Marlin F. Saltzman; beloved daughter, Karen B. Gremillion; one granddaughter, Rachel Brouillette; her parents, Clojer and Telside St.Romain Brouillette; and 4 brothers.

Survivors include her children; Barbara B. Selby and Scott of St. Joseph, Fred Brouillette of TX, JoAnn Ducote of Central; step children, Terry Brouillette of Marksville and Sarah Saltzman of Palmdale, CA; 13 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 8:30 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. on Friday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
