Obituary
Funeral services for Mary Lois Webb Kennedy will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Eola Baptist Church with the Bro. Bill Housley officiating. Burial will follow in the Vandenberg Cemetery in Bayou Chicot. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Kennedy, age 88 of Baton Rouge, formerly of Gold Dust, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016 at her residence.
Mary loved to watch all types of sports, but her favorite was LSU and the Saints. She also enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time in the yard enjoying the birds and flowers. She was a member of the Eola Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Otis Kennedy; her parents, James and Coralee Linzay Webb; and step-brothers, Harvey Webb and Kenneth Webb.
Survivors include her three daughters; Cora Kennedy, Zoe Ann Kennedy Ranzino and husband Peter, and Terria Kennedy all of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Sonny Webb of Michigan and Eddie Webb of Texas; and step-sister, June Webb Vidrine of Bunkie; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Eola Baptist Church.
