Funeral services for Mary Jo Ferguson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with Bro. David Ducote officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Ferguson, age 73 of Bunkie, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Mercy Regional Hospital in Ville Platte.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Ferguson; a son, Leo William Ferguson; parents, Wallace and Thelma Herr Rollins; her siblings, Ron Rollins, Steve Rollins, William Rollins, Doris Ann Dooley, and Linda Andrus.

Survivors include her children, Jeana Galland of Moreauville, Leon Ferguson of Bunkie and April Ferguson (Charles) of Bunkie; her sister, Janice Main of Pensacola, FL; her grandchildren, Amanda Galland, Jake Galland, Tessa Galland, Tyler Galland, Kacie Lambert, Garrett Ferguson, Kelsi Davis, and Kassadi Ferguson and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
