A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Ann Lemoine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Msgr. Stephen Scott Chemino officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Lemoine "Maw", age 86 of Bunkie passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, H.J. "Bud" Lemoine; and her parents, Willis and Amy Ducote Nicholson.

Survivors include her sons; Steven Martel and wife Tabatha of Bunkie and Philip Martel and wife Mona of Sunset; her grandchildren, Jason Martel (Brooke), Carly M. Desselle (Derek), Caitlyn M. Watkins (Caleb), Ross Martel (Jamie) and Blake Martel; and her great-grandchildren, Sydnee, Landry, Remi, Adley, Hewitt and Grady.

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. at funeral home.  Friends may visit from 8:00 a.m. until time of rosary at 10:15 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
