A Catholic Funeral Liturgy outside of Mass for Mary Ann Nash will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 2, 2012 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with the Rev. Jack Michalchuk officiating. A eulogy service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday. Burial will follow in the Pythian Cemetery in Bunkie. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Nash, age 91 of Bunkie, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2012 at the Riverside Hospital in Alexandria.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Melvin Lee and Zeolaide Mary Poche Nash; her brothers, John, Cyril, Pete, Roy, Bill and Sam Nash; sisters, Hemel Nash, Emel Scott, and Virgie McCoy.
Survivors include one sister, Eloise Holland of Poland; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will include: Clyde McCoy, Chad McCoy, Michael Nash, Kevin Nash, Donald Nash and John Frabbiele.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday and 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
