A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Chautin Myers will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Morrow with the Rev. Tom Voohries officiating. Burial will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery in Rosa. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Ms. Myers, age 54 of Rosa, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Opelousas General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dale Myers; her son, Will Chautin; father, Floyd Joseph Chautin; brothers, Tony Chautin and Joseph Chautin.

Survivors include her daughter, Amber Crouch of Melville; her mother, Fleeta Hudspeth Chautin of Rosa; one brother, Andy Chautin of Rosa; two sisters, Maria Chautin Dixon of Dupont and Rose Ducote of Henderson; and 5 grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie. Deacon Scott Payton will recite the rosary at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
