A Mass of Christian burial for Mary Ellen Armand Jeansonne will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Saint Frances Cabrini Church in Alexandria with Father Chad Partain officiating. Burial will follow in Church of the Little Flower Cemetery in Evergreen. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mary Jeansonne, age 85 of Alexandria, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Saint Frances Cabrini Hospital. She is preceded in death by her son, Kenneth G. Jeansonne; her parents, Wilton and Cecelia Armand; brother, Rodney Armand; and sister, Elain Armand Thevenot.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Rodney J. Jeansonne of Alexandria; her daughters, Carol Ann Jeansonne Paul (Wayne) of Deville and Michelle Leigh Jeansonne Cobb (Stephen) of Alexandria; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Wayne Paul, Sage Paul, Stephen Cobb, Evan Stokes, Steven Gordon, and Bryan Cobb.

Honorary Pallbearers include Stephanie Collado, Erika Stokes, Kalee Paul, and Samuel Doggett.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at Saint Frances Cabrini Church in Alexandria.
