MARSHALL JOHN DALGO
Funeral services for Marshall Dalgo will be at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Church of Christ in Bayou Jacque with the Bro. Danny Broussard officiating. Burial will follow in the Church of Christ Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mr. Dalgo, age 72 of Bayou Jacque, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Opelousas General Hospital.
Mr. Dalgo was a retired iron worker in the construction business. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He worked hard and provided well for his family. He loved to hunt and his grandchildren were his pride and joy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Edward and Lucille Dupuy Dalgo; four brothers, Louis, Wiltz, Joe, and Milton Dalgo; two sisters, Virginia Dalgo and Lucille Guillot.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Virgie Hammond Dalgo of Bayou Jacque; his three daughters, Cindy Dalgo of Bayou Jacque, Pamela Brazzel and her husband Wayne of Bayou Jacque, and Marsha Leonards of New Roads; two brothers, Ronald Dalgo of Goudeau, and Pete Dalgo of Folsom; four sisters, Qzamae Badeaux of Plaucheville, Mamie Juneau of Metairie, Jeanette Mills of Plaucheville, and Ollie Kearns of Metairie; and his four grandchildren, Abby, Nick, and Molly Leonards, and Corey Brazzel.
Pallbearers will include; Wayne Brazzel, Ronald Dalgo, Pete Dalgo, Dale Hammond, Johnny Jones and Van O'Neal. Honorary Pallbeares will be, Nick Leonards and Corey Brazzel.
Friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie and 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 3:30 p.m. at Church of Christ in Bayou Jacque.
