Obituary
Graveside services for Marie Dunbar were at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Bayou Rouge Cemetery in Evergreen. Arrangements were under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Dunbar, age 90 of Bunkie, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Opelousas General Hospital.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Clarence Glen and Mabel Dalton Gloer; brothers, Howard Gloer and W.L. "Buddy" Gloer; sisters, Lillian Spoon, Mildred Deloach and Janie Calhoun.
Survivors include her husband of 68 years; Irvin E. Dunbar of Bunkie; her daughters, Susan Quebedeaux and husband Dwayne of Lafayette, Pat Edwards and her husband Cobran of Tupelo, MS, and Judy Bordelon and her husband Danny of Lake Elsinore, CA; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
Pallbearers included: Joseph Quebedeaux, Scott Boullion, Eric Barber, Jonathan Edwards, Kevin Santora and Mitch Brioussard.
