Obituary
Funeral services for Margie Belanger will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with Pastor Emmett officiating. Burial will follow in the Pythian Mausoleum. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
Mrs. Belanger, age 75 of Bunkie, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015, at the Hessmer Nursing Home.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Belanger; and her parents, Charles and Julia Blood.
Survivors include one son, Ronnie Belanger and his wife Theresa of Belledeau; her two daughters, Sharon Roberts and her husband Charles, Jr. of Victoria, TX and Renee Ducote of Plaucheville; two brothers, Mac Blood of Morrow and Clarence Blood of Tioga; two sisters, Doris Franks of Centerville and Janell Hoyt of Pineville; her grandchildren, Tricia Nugent, Troy Belanger, Jessica Romney, Trent Brouillette, and Mandelyn Lee; and her great-grandchildren, Tyler Nugent, Lane Nugent, Sophie Belanger, Skylar Romney, T.J. Belanger and Taliah Brouillette.
Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Monday at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
