Funeral services for Marceline Jackson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 21, 2023, in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie with Donnie Mc Gee officiating.  Private graveside burial will follow at the Big Cane Baptist Church.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Marceline, age 89, passed away on Friday October 13, 2023 at the Francois Bend Assisted Living and Memory Care Facility. Marceline was born to the late Alfred and Bessie Goudeau, Goudeau, LA on September 23, 1934.  She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Jackson.  Marceline and Bill loved living in Big Cane and shared 56 years of marriage.

Children are Bessie Garrett of Oklahoma and Aaron (Buddy) Sheets of Baton Rouge. Grandchildren are Ian Garrett, Anna Terrell, Sydney Bergeron, and Zachary Sheets. Great grandchildren are Emma, George, and Cora Garrett, Ellie and Isaac Terrell, Bentley and Callie Sheets and Abby Bergeron. She is also survived by her brother Clyde Goudeau of Osyka, MS.

Friends may visit on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
