Graveside services for Mancel Lemoine will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum with the Rev. Charlie Ray officiating.  Burial will follow.  Arrangements under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Lemoine, age 76 of Pride, LA, formerly of Plaucheville, LA, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2023 in Baton Rouge.  He was a graduate of St. Joseph's Catholic School in Plaucheville, retired from Ethel Corp. and the City of Baton Rouge, and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He is survived by his daughter, Kellie of Puyallup, WA, who was at his side to comfort him and her husband Shane; his granddaughter Lauren and grandson Kevin.  He is also survived by his sister, Alice Lemoine Goudeau; brother, Clayton Lemoine and wife Judy; and sister-in-law Gayle Lemoine and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mancel is preceded in death by his parents, Milbon (Coco) Lemoine and Lonie; brothers, Harris and Larry; and brother-in-law Herbert Goudeau.
