A Mass of Christian Burial for Maderis Guillory will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont with the Rev. George Crossfield officiating. Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum in Plaucheville. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mr. Guillory, age 79 of Plaucheville, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at the Avoyelles Manor Nursing Home in Dupont.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Steven and Hilda Ortego Guillory.

Survivors include his brother, Jim Guillory and his wife Christine of Plaucheville; his nephews, John and Cayle Guillory; and his great-nieces and nephews, Lincoln, Cade, Taylor, Morgan and Caleb.

Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Church Hall in Dupont. A rosary will be cited on Tuesday evening.
