A graveside service celebrating the life of Mrs. Louise Sue Saucier Collins will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Forrest Park Lawndale Cemetery, Houston, TX.
Louise was the daughter of Emile Louis and Susie Ophelia Johnson Saucier, born August 13, 1916. She is preceded in death by her husband Cecil Eugene Collins; a daughter, Eugenia Sue (Candy) Mitchel; her parents; a sister, Ina Irene; and her brothers, Murvel Clifton, Walter Earl, and Hershiel Emile.
Survivors include a daughter, Cecile Ziesel Wiggins of Monroe, LA; her grandsons, Paul Collins Ziesel of Monroe, LA and Richard Shane Lewis of Houston; two sisters, Nina Beryl Moncla and Sylvia Ann Roy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of Marksville High School and St. Joseph's School of Nursing, Houston, TX. She spent her professional years as a pediatric nurse at St. Josephs' Hospital in the premature nursery and in the offices of Dr. A. Lane Mitchell and Dr. James R. Curbo until her retirement. She was a member of the Richmond Plaza Baptist Church, Houston, TX.
Mrs. Collins did fine needlework and sewing. She enjoyed gardening, traveling and collecting antiques. She had a very special love for her family.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
