A Mass of Christian Burial for Louise Fisher will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Dupont with Rev. Joseph Desmoine officiating.  Burial will follow in the Big Cane Baptist Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mrs. Fisher, age 71 of Plaucheville, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Fisher and her parents, John Harold and Geneva Bordelon.

Survivors include her children; Bruce Fisher and wife Amy of Natchitoches and Ashley Weatherford and husband Luke of Plaucheville; her siblings, Willen Bordelon (Cindy) of Ethel, Cathy Deaville (Thomas) of Cottonport, Janelle Laborde (Chris) of Plaucheville, Peggy Clark (Bubba)of Plaucheville, Donna Mayeaux of Tioga and Michelle Dixon (Clay) of Minden; and her grandchildren, Ian Weatherford, Cole Fisher and Geneva Weatherford.

Friends may visit on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.
