A Mass of Christian Burial for Louis Lemoine will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Martin Laird officiating.  Burial will follow in the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Plaucheville.

Mr. Lemoine, age 92 of Plaucheville, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at his residence.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Geraldine L. Lemoine; his parents, Lennie and Aud Gremillion Lemoine; and his siblings, Ivan Lemoine, Vera Mae Lemoine, Mildred Aymond and Anita Chenevert.

Survivors include his children; Aaron Lemoine (Charmaine) of Plaucheville, Jacqueline L. Edleston (Don) of Central, Carl Lemoine (Ann) of Denham Springs, Eileen Lemoine (Central) and Darren Lemoine (Vanessa) of Plaucheville; 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. at Mater Dolorosa Catholilc Church.  A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m.

Due to COVID, we ask that everyone take the necessary precautions to remain safe.  There will be no gathering after service.
