Funeral services for LouAnn Gauthier will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 in the chapel of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home with the Bro. Bryan Canup officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bayou Rouge Baptist Cemetery in Evergreen.  Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.

Mrs. Gauthier, age 71 of Bunkie, passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the Opelousas General Hospital.

She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin "T.T." Gauthier; son, Davy Gauthier; daughter, Nacy Guillot; granddaughter Olivia Gauthier; son-in-law Johnny Ducote; her parents, June and Ola Dozier Franks; siblings, Jody Ducote, Darrell Ducote, Kenneth Ducote, Cheryl Ducote, Dorothy Redmond and Cindy Valois.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Siffert (Andrew) of St. Landry, Tavia Ducote (Blaine) of St. Landry and Karen Kemp (Brian) of Vidalia; brothers, John Wayne Ducote of Golden Meadow and Joel Franks of Lone Pine; sisters, Paula Anderson of Polland, Carolyn Fontenot of Morgan City, and Betty Jo Patnaude of Jay, FL; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Hixson-Ducote Funeral Home of Bunkie.
